Getting Started

Client onboarding

Move from account creation to your first paid entitlement in one sitting. Follow these steps and send yourself a test payment link before sharing with customers.

Setup steps#

Do these in order for a smooth launch.

10–15 minutes to complete
  1. 1

Create or sign in to your client account

Use the Entora login, then verify you land on the Entitlements dashboard. If you are redirected to /login, complete auth first.

  2. 2

    Complete Stripe onboarding

Click the onboarding banner or go to /api/payments/onboarding. Finish identity checks so you can activate entitlements and receive payouts.

  3. 3

    Connect an integration

For Google Drive entitlements, connect Drive when prompted. For Discord entitlements, install the app into the guild you manage.

  4. 4

    Create your first entitlement

Select “New Entitlement” → choose Google Drive or Discord → fill in name, identifier (file ID or guild/role), price, and expiry.

  5. 5

Send yourself a test payment link

Open the entitlement details and trigger a payment link to your email. Walk through the purchase and verify access/role is granted.

  6. 6

    Activate and share

Toggle the entitlement to Active. Share the payment link in your content or community; customers will get receipts and access emails automatically.

What to prepare

  • A Stripe-capable business or individual account for payouts.
  • A Google Drive file/folder or a Discord role you can use for a safe test purchase.
  • Branding copy (entitlement name, short description, and price).

Troubleshooting

  • Stripe banner persists: Refresh and confirm you completed all onboarding steps; Stripe may require additional info.
  • Google prompt loops: Make sure you grant requested Drive scopes and select the correct Google account.
  • Discord not showing guilds: Install the Entora app to a guild where you have admin permissions, then reopen the modal.
